Took some photo's of my cousin today for the 'fashion' part of my coursework this year. Some turned out OK but the bulk of them I dislike!
They all seemed pretty soft which is quite poo.
I know some of these are not fashion but portraits but nothing ever goes to plan does it! :)

c&c always welcome :)

Wow, what eyes! I love the look of her in the fourth image. Has a little attitude in those eyes. If she was singer I would say put this one on the album cover...OK showing my age there...CD cover. :D

Thankyou.

I wasnt so sure they were any good at first as my flash gun's packed in for some strange reason!

But they seem to be winners :)

Great series of images - she looks a bit like Charlotte Church. #5 has a bit of a 60's feel going. Although the home-owner in me says "get your shoes of my paint-work!!!" :)

Your conversion looks good. I like all the shots except the last. It just doesn't do her justice at that angle and focal length. Great job on the others.

The conversion was just done with an action i found. ive not got the grasp of the channel mixing thing yet.

I quite liked the angle of the last purely because it was different. Ive seen so many bizzare things in the fashion mags that i wanted to try some wacky stuff!

Thankyou :)

I think the pose is good, and I like where you were going. I just couldn't feel it. I also like the bright light and the contrast between her and the plain wall...

Very nice job there!

#1 is awesome! i love the flipped result!

#2 is also nice, but her left arm being cut-off is distracting. I like the expression on her face!

#3 this one is actually my favorite. I think it works completely! I maybe would have done a little PP and made the shadowed area a little brighter

#4 is very nice. i think the overall image is a bit bright (at least for my taste) but i love her eyes.

#5 is my 2nd favorite. pose is great, lighting is great, and model looks great. 2 things: i wonder what the image would look like if the top of the windo wasn't cut off, and the bottomr railing on the left side wasn't cut-off.

ThumbsUp to ya!

He still has one more move.
