The conversion was just done with an action i found. ive not got the grasp of the channel mixing thing yet.

Care to share which action please. I tried something similar on Saturday but my B&W conversions lack the punch that yours do.

I like 3 the best has an edgy look to it. The light isn't so flattering running across the nose but that's just being picky.

I'll have to post mine once I've got her permission and post processed them.

Lovely pictures, all of them! For me, the composition in #1 & #5 seem a bit odd. #1 ~ because it looks like she's kind of floating there.(although I do kind of like it) #5 ~ beacuse it just looks uncomfortable.

My favorites are #2, #4, & #3 in that order. I agree with another poster that the arms look a bit strange in #2, but I think it is the nicest exposure & sharpness of the lot. The shadows in the others seem to busy the image, not focus on a particular attribute.

You work is coming along well & you are happily commited to it, so I'm sure we will be seeing more great things from you in the future.
