My new 70-200 f/4

I went to B&H for the first time this past friday and bought a new bag and a new 70-200 f/4. B&H was quite an experience and it is now a must stop every time I visit NYC. I tried this lens as well as the 70-300 IS which I had been wanting for a while. I went with the 70-200 because it seemed much more solidly built and seemed to work more efficiently. Plus cheaper after the rebate. Tonight I went out and was practicing with it. It was starting to get dark, but I got what I consider my best shot of my cat as far as sharpness. What do you think? Is this typical of this lens?

This was the first lens I ever got,I had a lot of fun with it,enjoy it it realy is a nice lens.

IMO, a cat trumps a duck. They're also higher on the food chain.

Anyway, yeah - that's typical of this lens and then some. You're gonna love it.

it seems like that lens is a lot cheaper in america than in the UK, 330 pounds compared to 490 is quite a big difference id say a bit off topic but is there any import tax or other charges?

Thanks folks. Back when I first got into photography with my S2IS, I went to a local lake and took many duck pictures. That was before I had any idea that duck shots were so cliche around here. So, no more ducks. But Sebastian my cat gets all the honors these days.

Everyone that gets a new telephoto lens usually shoots a duck first. It's ok though because the cat is better.
