Messing around with my 430EX and my girlfriend was the only one around to photograph. So here it is.

id crop out some of the negative space. too much on the right side

I agree about the negative space, other than that... great job!

Lighting seems to work well! the only thing that i can notice is the shadow her nose creates....it's kind of odd to see once noticed.

I'm kind of a fan of negative space though I could see the top being cropped a bit (and thus the right side a bit also).

re-edited the pic.

cropped it a bit tighter, got rid of some of the negative space. removed the shadow from the nose. what ya think?
