I really love to look up and see that particular formation of the clouds Sandy

as well as being a beautiful sight it usually means a spell ,however short , of fine weather
I wonder was it lovely for a few days there around when you took the pictures

'if woolly fleeces spread the heavenly way, be sure no rain disturbs the day'

this rhyme refers to a sky of small puffy cumulos clouds. it tells us that no rain will fall that day

this would be true most of the time, but a cumulonimbus cloud can develop, bringing thunderstorms

'exploring the Sky by Day'
'the equinox guide to weather and the atmosphere'
I bought it years ago
and I watch the clouds ;)

a lot can be seen and told from the sky's panoramic artistically beautiful expeditions

these are something of the same type of cloud formation
which I took a few years ago >

Thanks Becca, Are you getting the rain we're having? Not a nice day at all.
