My wife asked this question, and I don't know the answer --

Does the viewfinder on the XTi work the same as a Rebel XT?

She tried out an XT in the camera store, liked it -- but wanted to know if they changed the viewfinder on the XTi.

Thanks!

Jim

They should be exactly the same. Step up to a XXD and you go from a pentamirror to a pentaprizm witch brightens up the viewfinder. Step up to a 1 series and you get a very bright oldschool film type viewfinder.

60D, Canon 18-135 IS, Sigma 10-20 hsm, 24-70 2.8 hsm, 70-200 2.8 hsm, 430EX II, and all the other stuff that goes along with it.

Pretty much the same except that XTi you see 9 focusing points instead of 7 on XT.

What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

Thanks!

I think the best way is for her to visit the local camera store and see for herself...
