I'm so tempted to putting these four lenses on there right now

CANON EF-S 10-22MM 3.5-4.5 USM LENS
CANON EF 85MM/F1.8 USM
SIGMA 50-500MM F4-6.3 EX
SIGMA 105MM F2.8 EX DG SONY MACRO

Seriously, I COULD survive very well if I ate Raman noodles every day/all three meals for the next 3 years couldn't I?

I feel your pain brother, let it all out.

You have 2 somewhat similar lenses on your wish list: 85 f1.8 and 105 f2.8 I would consider getting just one of these - the macro if that is important to you. Unless you have money to spend try and make your lens choices more distinct from each other for maximum bang for your buck.

no no, the 105mm is a sony macro. ;)

Hey, I lived off Ramen for quite a while in college. You can get some mixed veggies and mix them in. Good stuff. With a lil cooking know how you can even make some interesting stir fry. That stated. It has been some time since I have eatin Ramen since I have a decent job. LOL!

You've omitted the most useful accessory yet; if you don't have one go out and get one immediately. A spouse will keep your credit card spending in check! :)

You don't need to eat noodles every day. I believe every other day will keep you alive. That way you can get more extras for your rig.

LOL, I feel your pain! I have to use my GF to keep me from spending!

my list:
Canon EF-S 10-22mm F3.5-4.5 USM (external link)
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM (external link)or Canon EF 24-70/2.8L USM (external link)(undecided)
Canon EF 70-200mm F2.8L USM (external link) (possibly IS version if I feel ballin that particular day)
Canon 580EX flash, might settle for the 430 though, since I probably won't use the 580 to full potential.

1. You did destroy your credit cards! Well, maybe just the accounts. . .

2. Kraft Macaroni and Cheese is the official POTN "in debt up to my ears" food - but you can choose Ramen if you like - no penalty.

Congratulations, and here's to many more!

Have Fun,

Rick

There is no way paying intrest is a good idea on anything. I try and just save and hold out if i see new gear I want to buy. And everyone here is right, I bought a 20D thinking its all i need. OMFG was I wrong... This place will make you broke.

One day i said screw it and splurged... Fun, but expencive. I was even thinking of downgrading some of my gear.. Getting rid of and "studio" related gear and just keeping Camera, Grip, Lenses, Speedlights and thats pretty much it.

1 week of reading here convinced me to upgrade from the 50mm 1.8 to the 1.4 =(

absolutly love the lens though!

pro tip: large package of ground beef from costco and a large bag of potatoes (cube and boil to preferred softness) will make that KD a much more filling and better meal! brocolli is also acceptable.

Reminds me of an old saying...

Buy a Harley, own the best.

Ride a mile, walk the rest.
