Thank you for the comments everyone and the welcomes. I am going to play with it in ps and see how i can make it look better. I am absolutely hooked, never new photography would be this fun. I love my Rebel xt.

I'd try these shots in black and white, and maybe adjust the clouds separately to make them even more ominous looking.

Just goes to show grey cloudy days can produce good shots :)

I am curious though. Did you do anykind of HDR PP or digital blending for the skies?


Technical perfection is only ever important if it improves the asthetic. It is not the precursor to beauty. Not in art..not in music and not in photography!

Montreal - these were taken in Saint John.

siejones - i only used the levels to adjust these. i am new to this and not very good with ps.
