EF 50mm f/1.2L USM: I've got it.....

Awe, Petkal! I was wanting to see some sweet water fowl images with the 50 L 1.2. I just love looking through the lens archive of the 85 L. Now you guys are saying I am gonna have to wait til November to see some images with this bad boy?

Apologies for being a pedant but f/1.2 is only half a stop faster than f/1.4. A full stop would be f/1.0...

Thanks for the correction. I thought about it for a sec, but for some reason thought it's a full stop.

sigh WTF, evertime i see something new L come out, I get excited till i see the price!

I have a 50m 1.8, Ive been itching to get a 50mm1.4!! Now the 50mm L comes out, and id love to get that, but just the price alone is going to scare me away and back into the 50mm 1.4

Now i wont feel so bad buying the 50mm 1.4 since it cost 350 vs 1300.
