When I went FF my main worry was the effectice focal length on my longest lens, although there is an obvious difference I have got used to it pretty quicky, I have found it pretty easy to adapt. But the the overwhelming thing I've noticed is how sharp my images are, I'm blown away by this combo, it's heavy as hell but worth the aching arms. DoF seems to fall away beautifully. Here's a example.
One happy bunny :-)

this gives me another reason to trust my instinct and get the 5D instead of the 1DMk2n. excellent stuff.

I got the 1DMkIIN first, and picked up a 5D later (instead of a 1DsMkII). The 5D is a fine camera, but despite FF capability, does not match the 1DMKIIN in overall capability.

They are very different cameras, I'm not saying one is better that the other, just that for me it was the right move.

We have exactly the same lens and flash setup, so I'm happy to hear that the 5D sits well with that combo.

I feel this is one of the best all around shooting setups. The only thing I would add is the Big Flip-it and you'll have a true killer combo.

Nice shots peatoire! I'm very glad you are enjoying your camera/lens combo.
They are very different cameras but each have their strengths depending upon what you use them for. I prefer the 5D (having owned both) but do miss the speed of the MKIIN. But I'm SO happy with my 5D that I've never been sorry I made the switch. (though I wish I could have the best of both worlds, like Mark :) ).
