Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3

I know this isn't a Canon lens but just wanted to see what everyone thought about this lens? Its the
Tamron Zoom Super Wide Angle 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di-II LD Aspherical (IF) Macro Lens for Canon Digital EOS

I was thinking of using this as an everyday walkaround lens but not sure f some of you have any experience with this lens..

Tamron is better than Sigma right or Vice Versa?

If I were you, I'd look elsewhere. Combining 18 to 200mm is asking for trouble. It is simply too difficult to get good results all throughout the zoom range.

I have read a great many reviews of the various 18-200 lenses. In most of those reviews, the Sigma is preferred.
