Great shot with the disney characters Ian I love the white background effect. Nice job.

Regarding Shangri-la we only went there for a day trip package with lunch buffet 2 kids plus me and my wife around 12k but still kind of pricey not staying overnight for that price.

wow for that price you should just have stayed overnight

We could for a little bit more but the time we will spent for checking in and checking out it is not worth it when we left the place at 10pm 1 taxi ride we are already in Mariott plus we prefer the Mariott we are staying in it is very convinient basically next door to Ayala Center or to HUKAD RESTAURANT...I love that resto, Unlimited rice, Awesome foods, Authentic Cebu/pinoy food.

Thanks

my usual workflow is like this. i basically do the basic saturation, WB, sharpening, contrast etc. adjustments in LR3 then for some touching up and the border i use CS5. not really that good in PP but i learned most of it from the one monk3y posted a while back, Gavin Hoey. his tuts are really easy to follow.

for the border itself, the semi transparent, i used STROKE and for the size of my photos i usually have it at about 80pix (the border) and about 30% transparency. then for the black and white outer borders, i adjusted the canvass size to 10pix for the white then about 150pix for the black.

Welcome. I was surprised that China does not have Visa on arrival like many SE Asia countries. But what surprises me more is that fact that you travel agent did not give you a heads-up on travel requirements.

Nice photos, even though it's not the same place where I've been. It still brings back great memories for me.

i've been to china several times and their visa requirement is very strict. i was still holding a philippine passport at that time. canadians don't need visa. went to taipei 4 yrs ago. the country club we stayed is ridiculously luxurious :D

Yeah....there was no limit for how long you stay for a day, you can start as early as 8am till midnight for that price. The resort is really top notch we got to enjoy the live band in the lobby have a few drinks before heading to our Hotel. It was really worth it my kids stay in the pool for nearly 8 hrs between the beach and the pool.

Thanks for sharing your workflow, I do the same thing basic editing in LR3 than border in in cs4. The border I use in cs4 is the single border I don't remember the steps but I really like the way you did borders. Tonight I will try thanks IANXXX.

Monk3y if you are reading this can you repost your pp method or workflow like IANXXX mentioned above? Pleaseeeeeeeeeee.....or atleast tell me what page so I can look it up.
Thanks...
