I also visited the 9/11 memorial here in NYC yesterday. Will be working on those images tonight

they allow dslr in the memorial? what about tripods? i'm going end of the month I just want to make sure what I can and can't bring...

Yes they allow DSLR and tripods. Make sure you make reservations online! You can't get in without a ticket. Reservations are filled until November if you don't have one already but they release a few for the day of visits. Reservations are free.
