hahaha early mornings are for old man

I'm not doing much either, just lurking while watching movies. I have 1TB of movies/tv series that my buddies had "collected".

Hehe... If I have a faster internet connection I would probably be collecting movies too

I'm out of the house now... I am closing up one of my shop for good today

I get mine from a friend in Vancouver. I ship my HDD to him and when it's full, he ships it back to me

Closing your shop? I hope this is not a bad thing but a preparation to your future plans.

I have a branch in Carcar, a city about an hour away from Cebu, sales is ok but stagnant. I was thinking of closing it up and moving all our resources back to the city a while back but I hesitated, when the big quake happened a few weeks ago, it damaged the building we are renting, it seems to be unstable now, so I decided to push through with my plan. The quake was a blessing in disguise.

We opened up this shop way before we started manufacturing wood products, now that we are going full blast with our wood operation, I am trying to streamline our operation by focusing on our strength, mainly electrical and wood products. Most of the item we sell in Carcar are hardware materials.

This move is also in preparation for my exit this coming October, simplify our operation and concentrate on increasing output volume high margin products

The store in Carcar contributes about 10% of our total sales per year but In order to get that 10% I need to have stocks that amount to about 25% of all our stock value. we rely on our wholesale operation more than retail. In closing the shop I will lose some sales but will be able to lquidate some assets/stocks too. I will be left with one shop in Cebu and 2 wholesaling warehouses
