Brother has Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The owner of the Note and Nexus keep bragging about the blacks... and that's that. As a photog who cares about colors I like IPS displays that are present in HP TouchPad, and a Apple iOS devices.

Then again it all depends on the application. I prefer Apple devices as I use Macs for home and (non-photo) work.

ahhh... I need a bigger iphone but I don't want an Ipad...only solution is the note

by the way, since we awarded the Aircon Package to Samsung for the condo we are building, our Management went to SoKor last February and Samsung daw has this Green House, as in sustainable development and the good thing about it, they incorporated some of tomorrow's technology in that house. for example, if you're gonna pee in that toilet bowl, the result of your urinalysis will flash in the Vanity Mirror inside that toilet! what the heck, right? it's awesome!

This reminded of my stint with wireless group. Before the Bluetooth (BT) came out. I attended a presentation of BT technology. They were selling the idea to the utilities provider. The idea was that anything in your house can be scanned and measured. Like your local meter reader, he/she does not have to get out of her vehicle to measure your electric consumption. All appliance will have their own unique IP address. As Paolo alluded, one of the problem is privacy issues. Anyways it never got off the ground.

the wireless scanning of meter is an old technology, they just installed smart meter in my home and the utility company and I can get readings on the net every 15 minutes, eventually utility companies will start charging rates according to usage vs time ( as a factor of peak utilization etc) Some people here are contesting the smart meter as invasion of privacy.

lol ironically I get free Chicharon here, my sis-in-law's side of the family has a factory in BC. I get as much factory rejects, but my sis-in-law is a nurse. And she does not allow me to to have some. Her dad almost died of heart failure, so all chicharons are confiscated before it get to me. I guess that's another irony, "so close and yet so far".

Lol. A friend of mine gave another friend a bag of home made chicharon the next day he got a call from the wife saying if he wants to kill his husband man she was so mad. We can't believed she will get mad like that.

That is nice you get free chicharon.

yes they have gone a long way. Not just meters but also things like your refrigerator/medicine cabinets, the ability to know whats inside and telling the local grocery stores to gather the items for pick up etc. Guess what? things that google are doing now. Except not in your house, but how things you viewed/searched for items. At the time another challenged was the availability of IP addresses. They were waiting for IPv6, I am so out of it that I don't even know if the internet is using IPv6. I'm no longer on the technology side of the business, I've decided to leave that to the younger guys.
