Hi
I was called by a national magazine to do the cover shot for thier november issue. This is huge for me because its my first professional shoot.

I photographed a Dr in Colorado. This Dr wants to buy the photos from me. The magazine says its ok with them.

here are my questions:
1) should I sell him a CD of the photos?
2) or should I sell him prints?
3) or should I sell him prints that are framed?

- Whats most profitable?
- Whats most common?
- Any other advice?

Thank you in advance

-Albert

Best thing to do is just sell him prints. Dont sell a CD, you lose all control of the photos and the printing then bad things can happen.

You can give him a framed option, but usually I just sell prints to people because they have their own tastes in frames and may want them to match other stuff in their homes. Plus selling things framed gets expensive becuase the shipping is quite expensive. If you can work with him personally though to pick out frames and deliver them, it does leave room for more markup...but in the end I think letting them do the framing themselves is the better options.
