Lens adapter

A buddy in from Oz gave me a Sigma 16mm Fisheye lens with a Nikon mount. I see no electrical contacts so guess it to be manual focus. Any idea if there is an adapter that can be purchased to make this work on my Canon XT? Not sure what Nikon mount this is considered. The only number I see that might be of value is 1000801.

I had a Nikon adapter for my ex 350D and worked fine. Check eBay.

I'm guessing that might be the Sigma YS series. If so, I have one of those, and the YS thread is a standard T-mount thread with a mechanism for stopping down the lens automatically via the host camera's normal method. If you didn't mind using it wide open you could just put an EF T-mount on; you might also be able to jerry rig something to keep the aperture-control pin depressed and use it as a stopped-down lens. Or you could leave the Nikon mount on and get an EOS-Nikon adapter.
