@Neilyb: oh, you noticed that? Wow! Seriously, no, we don't have comparable beaches here in small Switzerland. The shot was taken on the island of Föhr in northern Germany. The Wattmeer with the huge tide is really a beauty for landscape photography.

I need to get back to that place some day...
