OK-when you take a picture of a bird 75' away or so with the 200, it is not a close up like a zoom would do. So to bring the bird up close when I process the picture, I have to crop it quite a bit. And I get a decent close-up. The problem is when I want to enlarge that crop, it gets grainy. If you had a 400 5.6 lens, isn't it going to be the same problem? I now have a 1.4 Kenko Pro 300extender but still have the same problem. What's wrong? (other than trying to take close ups from far away)
