My offerings from the night.
As others have mentioned, it was a challenge and a half with exposures.

Purple haze! Purple haze!Purple haze! ........... It's got to be that one!

Beautifully framed by the fountains, perfectly exposed, great.

Dare I say it ...... some of the others seem overexposed to me (but I have this rather fixed view that blacks should be BLACK ... well they should be at night anyway! ;) )

I'm with Mike with the purple haze one being my favourite. ;) I really must get round to processing my shots so that I can bore the forum with more of the Scottish POTN shots.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

My favourite is VK017821.jpg....the green shot with the mist, simply because you managed to capture the mist without it becoming a faint blur on a night of long exposures.
You can just about see where the pipe is hidden under the leaves and emitting the smoke.
I tried to get this shot but the mist dissapeared into oblivion.

I alos like the purple fountain...another one I failed to seize the opportunity on.

I like the purple haze shot. How many exposures did you have to go through before you timed it right, Les? (I think I took a dozen or so) Or did you do the sensible thing - and time it?!
And (for Mike) I think the blacks that should be, are. Too much black can do the 'white sky' thing. But, that's only my opinion.
