Hello everyone. This is my very first posted image here, er, I only have a Panasonic p n' s DMC-LZ5. It's slow, the lens quality sure ain't spectacular, I almost never have it on a tripod, and I am quite new to photography, but am posting to this forum, because I admire the work of a lot of people on here, and have not seen such a friendly and knowledgable bunch online before. Now that I've said that -

here is a guy smoking...something in Toronto. I believe that he saw me as I fired the shutter. No matter, I would greatly appreciate any comments, CC, editing is fine by me, whatever. I am eager to learn. Thanks, and enjoy (I hope).

I commend you on getting the shot, Most people shy away from this type of shot in fear of pissing someone off, Myself included, But I really just need to get into this. I really love the expressions of people right when they realize they're pic is being taken at the exact moment the shutter clicks. priceless.

I like the spontaneity of the shot. His reaction portrays a sense of guilt.

Eheheh. Thanks you two. Yeah, I have just tried my hand a bit at candid/street photography, and Keiffer, I know what you mean about not wanting to piss someone off. Once I was practicing panning from on top of a balcony and whoever was below didn't like it, so they flipped me off. I deleted whatever attempt I had shot (sorry if that was anyone here ;) ). But yeah, if you do such shots, I find you have to not be afraid. In this case, I'm kind of glad that he looked up just as it went off!

PhotoScout - mmm, maybe a bit guilty, hey?

Appreciate the comments.
