Pelicans in flight

These were taken at Quivera National Wildlife Refuge last weekend. The Sandhill Crane count was 120,000, but not one was within photo range. I did get many other species, including these in-flight shots of American White Pelicans. C&C welcome.

EOS 30D, EF 100-400 at 400mm, ISO 200, EV +.33, f/7.1, 1/1600-1/2000.

Excellent job of capturing these White Pelicans. It is difficult to correctly exposure their white color in full sunlight. You have done a great job.

Thanks, Stephen. There were about 50-70 pelicans taking off from a marsh, and they flew toward the sun, as in the first shot, and then flew back, which resulted in the backlit shots. I caught them right before leaving the refuge.
