Hey everyone. Just paid a visit to the potn Aussie Club link and Tina mentioned that I should say hello here too.

I'm also based in Brisbane (MacGregor) but have only been here about 5 1/2 years or so... originally from NZ (born and raised). Used to do a little bit of playing with a Canon film SLR (50E) but only just got into DSLR recently. Be cool to meet up for a coffee/chat/photoshoot sometime with you other Brisbanites and learn a few tips/tricks.

Haha, no slap needed. You got it. :D

Yeah... sometime in December. Check the webbie, and on the calendar it will be there somewhere. Hehe, too lazy to do it myself right now.

it's their xmas break up, a sort of brunch, i think the 10th. meeting at slaughter falls, mt cootha, 9.00am. It's an early start so people can go home when it gets too hot, so you can have breakfast or early lunch or whatever. I am not going though. Don't know enough people there.
they are having a digital night on tuesday night if you are interested feng

Hi all, how are we all today?

Have you folks seen the colour of the light out there today talk about golden, but at 10am is a bit strange. Did dust cloud blow in last night with the strong winds. Bit like having a gold reflector 100% of the time.

Thanks for the welcome Pwen.

Yeah the light in Brisbane is trippy isn't it?? Felt so weird going into a flouro lit room this morning.

It was caused by low lying cloud and the wind blowing the haze from the fires over.

Permanent sunglasses... :) everything's so GREEN! :)

Weird lighting alright. It's like sunset lighting all day.

Did you also see the colour of the sunset last night? As red as anything where I was sitting.

Na missed it as I was cooking dinner for the family. Not going to have the car tonight to get out and get any shots either.
