I'm an AF junky (very very rarely use manual focus). Canon EOS 30D, Sigma 30 1.4, Sigma 10-20, Sigma 105 Macro, 135L, 430ex, Lowepro Mini Trekker AW, Manfrotto 3001pro w/486rc2 and 804rc2 head, Manfrotto 681 w/ 3232 head.

I'm an AF junky (very very rarely use manual focus). well you see its just that the DoF is SO THIN at macro distances, that the slightest different in the focus means the target is in or out of focus, even stopped down. even on a dedicated lens its best to use MF. its just a different ballgame in macro world. Mr. the Kid.
