I was down in Cornwall and having seen so many people recommend Golitha falls during the Autumn period, decided to visit.

I love the mist effect on these, definitely wall hangers. Great job.

I know, and love, the Golitha falls area.
You have done it great justice. What superb shots.

I love the first one, the mist effect and green are great.

Thanks for looking!

Lovely Andrew. The water in the second shot is very nice in particular.

I like both shots but try cropping out the lower rock in the second one.
I think it makes it a stronger image.
My county .. so its got to be good.

Thanks for all the comments, yeah with the second one would have probably worked a little better reversed.

Seaboarder - I'll have a play about with the cropping and see if I can improve the shot. Feel free to mod the shot.

I don't think I can go along with the rest on these, looking through your gallery, you have some excellent images, but for me, these don't come near.

In the first, there is too much expanse of white, perhaps 1/2 stop less exposure might of brought needed detail in the highlights? there's also an overall softness to the images, particularly the FG rock.
The second image, as mentioned, a crop from the bottom would improve, the large rock provides a barrier to entering the scene, plus it's way too soft.

Finally, there are sensor dust spots that need removing.

Thanks for the honest critique Les, I think for a lot of my recent shots, I've held myself back from being too vigerous with any post processing sharpening. Point taken about the highlights and the dust spots (laziness sneaking in)

That's great, and am pleased you have not been offended, as it was not my intent.
I realised as an experienced photographer, you would be able to take critique on the chin :)
