doh. You do a calendar for your friends and family, your so nice.

first a book and now a calendar.  In fact that could be useful. the GKPE group have already put the dates down for the meets next year.

I've done calendar for my parents & two friends since I began shooting. Now another friend said she'd like one as well. :)

The GKPE crowd should make one. :) I think Liza or some other girl mentioned a male POTN G&N calendar. Which month would you like to be Mark? ;)

Actually, wasn't there talk about various POTN calendars now and then? I'd love to have a POTN calendar.

A POTN Calendar have been suggested several times but nobody picked the idea up.

Next year we do calendars. One per forum.

Or how about a daily calendar? 365 photos for a Pic-A-Day? Easy Peasy.

Another question about releases. As a lot of othe folks, almost all my MRs are drm TFP/TFCD, this excludes of course commercial use, but it DOES include self promotion and so on.

Now, assuming (in pure theory... I know that I can't compete with most of the G&N guys in here) that one or more of my pics will be selected, It seems to me to understand that nobody is going to make money out of this since we are all paying for our part, so my MRs should be OK.

Am I right or there is something wrong in this ?

From the "legal" stuff I have been reading I'm almost positive you are all set.

A Pic-A-Day? Damn, that'd be a thick calendar! I was more into one per forum. :)

Then we do a fun POTN calendar. You know, Tommy shooting Sari getting chased by a lion, Ronald behind a kiddie sales booth with a "Sales" sign & all his lenses displayed, CDS in class learning to spell (or was that Belmondo?), with Pekka as the teacher. Then we got a shot of Scottes dancing with wolves, CharlesU,Paul & Lorek in a studio shooting girls & surrounded by male POTN:ers drooling etc etc.

:D

I'm involved with a small car club. We've just done a calender via www.cafepress.com (external link)

You upload your shots (12 + Cover) sized at 11" x 8.5" in up to 300dpi and they give you a shopping cart service all free of charge. Cafepress charge a base $ 14.99 for the calender plus shipping, and then you add on your own profit margin.

All calenders are printed on a to-order basis, so you can just make one if you want.

This way may not be the most elegent but it does allow small clubs to get their own merchendise without having to worry about minimum order quantities.

My first calender in 2005 sold a whopping 17 copies. My 2007 calender has sold 9 copies so far and its only been on sale for 3 days.

(my calender is at www.cafepress.com/toyotasera (external link)) - its right down the bottom of the page...
Also another of mine at www.cafepress.com/rackheath (external link)
