As far as i can see, everyone else has posted the pictures from the Enchanted forrest , so i thought...well , i might be the last one but my PP speed is not up to scratch.

I didn`t get the great shots that the others did , but as everyone else said,it was a great challenge, for everyone, especially for the first time ever.:(

Anyway , here are 4 pictures , they were all taken with bulb expossure and different timing.

No flash was used for these shots , just the available lights.

Nice ones Dimitri. It was the second one where you used your hand over part of the lens to balance exposures between the purple foreground and the darker background, wasn't it?

It has to be purple haze for me, those FG grasses anchor the image very well.

Concentrate on equipment and you'll take technically good photographs. Concentrate on seeing the light's magic colours and your images will stir the soul. - Jack Dykinga

Yes it was John, and fortunatly it worked pretty well my friend.
If i hadn`t used my hand, part of the image would be blown up.

You are a wily one, Dimitri! :D

When I was there I thought "This is one place where Dimitri won't get those foregrounds he is so famous for." BUT every shot has a foreground subject AND it is well illuminated! It more than makes up for the (sometimes) sub-optimal exposure of the trees (we all got lots of that!). :)

hahaha,Mike...as John (Rudge) mentioned above,i was expossing (bulb) and had my hand in front of the lens, trying to exposse the far trees for a few seconds and then pull my hand off and exposse the fg for 1 or 2 seconds.
This way i didn`t burn out the brighter areas.;)

All so colorful and clear images of this enchanted forest, very enjoyable shots to view Dimitri.
It must have been a fun time.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Hey, I did that too, but gave the foreground about 10 seconds - it blew out a bit. Well exposed, Dimitri.
