10-22 broke in half! How much is this going to cost me? HELP!

Great news. Canon repair is REALLY reasonable here in the states.

One question... did it take them 10 wks to repair the lens? You originally flung it back in October. I seem to remember you mentioning a 3 day turnaround.

Maybe he spent the 10 weeks grovelling at their door, bargaining them down from a $500 repair job to $76, which was their cost for parts (not retail), which they finally conceded in order to get rid of the embarrasment of someone grovelling at the door! ;)

No it took about two weeks actually... CPS never seems to be as fast as they say on their turn around time... Its my boss who took so long to send it in... One of his camera's broke too so we sent them in together... his bill was 270 for "General Shutter Repair" sure didnt see that coming...
