These pictures are 2 of my best pictures I took at my high school's Homecoming game this past Saturday. No post processing was done except to put the watermarks in, so the colors are all as the camera took it. I think from what I got last year, these are 100% better, expecially since i used M mode the entire time. I actually checked on this one pros website of the pictures he took at the game, and mine were of the same caliber, and i'm using the G6, so that tells me that the G6 is still a really good camera. Critiques are accpeted! Thanks!

I think they are pretty decent shots. I don't know much about your camera but if you can get a faster f stop then I would use that...appears to be a bit to much shadow for my tastes.

Why are you surprised? American Football seems to be a very hard sport to get anything decent from and these aren't anything special to my eye. Sorry if that offends!

looks underexposed... the key to good photography is to know where your light sources are comming from. in both cases, you are on the wrong side of the field and way too close to the middle. you need to step at least 5-15 yards ahead of the offensive team for offense shots, or about 5 yards behind for defense shots (i'm assuming your maximum reach is the equivilent of 200mm lens, which means a slight crop on your camera).shoot with the sun behind you and you'll notice that it's a lot easier to get a useful shot.

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

Yes, I agree... could we see some shots with some more action? These are pretty severely underexposed, second one could use a tighter crop (maybe...)

Honestly, not much on group shots. My editors like action away from the crowd with wide open apatures to not compete with your primary subject. Never shoot under 350 shutter speed. Be aware of your background.
Just my 2 cents. Check out a few of my gallery shots and you will see what I mean
