How to get money to buy the EF 24-70mm f/2.8

I managed to scrape together enough money to go ahead and buy the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM lens.

$500 from a recent portrait session
$155 from that Microsoft Settlement (CA)
$250 from finds with metal detector
$170 from change found under sofa cushions
$25 from recyclables and panhandling the wife

Can’t wait to start using it.

(Having Canon Fever is awful L)

That picture is priceless! I want a cardboard sign too! Actually, I have a 24-70L and it is a beautiful lens. I use mine all the time. Have fun with it and if I find $170 under the couch, I'll add it to my 5D account. :)
