This is a very fine lens. I had never thought to use a macro on a bird before Petal's wild adventure with the 180L....then I thought..."if he can do it...." but this is my only macro. These aren't technically perfect but I'm amazed at the lack of CA and at the sharpness...white is a bear with CA, which is why I chose this goose...

)! I just wanted to see what it could do and was quite shocked at the outcome. It's very nice for landscapes as well, which shocked me. As soon as I process the photos, I'm going to post a landscape thread with this lens...
