Big savings :) $11.95 at B&H.

I have oe of two choice drive into manhatten wher is practically no parking and parking lots charge upwards of $10 or more an hour. Yes B&H have free parking but w/ Purchase. Then I would have to pay sales tax and thats if they happen to have on hand to sell me. With the price of gas at the time over $3 here, yes $10 is a bargain!!!

Lost two from my 20D. Useless little buggers they are, fall off way to easy. Can't be bothered replacing it now :|

Lost 2. Mainly because the little finger clamps that hold them in keep breaking. I got an eye piece extender and it has the same problem. I finally started inserting shims made of paper to hold the eye pieces in place and haven't had a problem since.

Same problem for me - noticed it was coming off rather easily, then saw a break in one of the clamps...almost lost in twice in one day then finally lost it the next (too busy packing my gear following some night shots).

Managed to pick up a replacement for £8, which seems steep considering thats 1% of the purchase price of a 30D!!!

Now...I hate to potentially embarass you, but..is there any chance that the one you found is..yours? Maybe it got into your clothing or something and fell out while on that beach.

Just a thought. Now it's your turn to shoot it down. ;-)a

No. Found it and kept it as a spare months ago.

If I had found one the same day I'm sure my synaptic fortitude would have kicked in and I would have realized it was mine.

The little rubber piece? I haven't lost it yet, but the damned thing won't stay on since coming off once. I finally got peeved with it coming off on one side for the 300th time the other day and just took it off for good. I can't really tell it's missing.

I can't get my 5D eyecup off. Forget about losing it. I'd have to lose the whole camera! (god forbid!)

I have the same damn problem with my 300D. The plastic part of the eyepiece is pretty solid, but the rubber piece came off once after about a year, and now it pops off all the time.

It doesn't make a huge difference if its missing anyway.

Found it. I looked at that spot about 6 times (literally) and never saw it. Right beside where the car was parked at the event I'm shooting. Covered in limestone duct but perfect.

So lost = 0 now.
