Lost my first a few months back at the Iowa State Fair, off my 10D. The funny thing is I found one in a SuperTarget parking lot several year ago. After I bought a new one for my 10D I remembered my found one. Now I have a spare.

I also broke one on my A2 back in '99 or so. It was a ?Cross-country meet and I was playing with the eyecup waiting for the race to start :|

Camera two days old.

Took the eyecup off in the park to attach the angle finder. Didn't miss it until 11:00 pm (and it was raining).

Didn't sleep too well that night.

Walked back into the park next morning, and found it. Does that count as being lost?

I'm now completely anal about it and will never let it out of my sight, so it can't get lost.

Just succeeded at losing my first. Bought the one in the piccie as I thought it would be better with my 20d etc. It did not fit- too slack and window was in wrong position. Well I tried. Has anybody found one similar that fits well?

Mark

If the edge on the camera bag catches it, do we blame ourselves? In that case 2 since my eye extender seems to catch on it every time I put my camera up.

I've had two and lost two (one for each camera) never bothered to replace them. Then I bought a delkin screen shade with attached eyecup --- and lost that too. :(
