Sorry if this has already been asked, but are factory refurbished lenses bought through Adorama or B&H eligible for the rebates?

canon may not warranty the lens but the store probably will. also, you probably have a better chance of a refurb being a "good copy".

but of course weigh all decisions before purchasing :D .

No you can't use rebates with refurbs... I asked Canon... :(

If you get a refurb from Canon eBay outlet then it DOES come with a 1 year warranty.
