I went to hang at the local shop today and got to hold a new 70-200 f4 IS L. man is that thing small compared to my ex- 70-200 2.8 IS L!!! HOLY COW is it sharp! IS seems to be really nice too. All in all I almost took one home to become the mate of my other zoom, the 24-70 to be my travel pair.

Interesting. I wonder if the IQ is comparable to the new 17-55?

Same here except I don't do landscapes and it's the Toki 12-24.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

I used to have the Tokina, but somehow it got traded for my 16-35. So i guess no more f/4's.

Dante, just buy it. But then i think you are in the market for a 400 f/2.8 ;)

Ive always debated on the f/4 vs. f/2.8 . I havent really seen which one would suit me best yet. I guess ill have to rent the 2.8 and treat it like an f/4 to see if it would relly suit my needs.

Ive used a Siggy 70-200 f/2.8, but I dont recall using it in lower light....but then again, ive never owned an IS lens either. Damnit I hate decisions like this.

The IS on this F4 is awesome. I really think, if you are in the market for the 70-200, you should check out this lens. Alas it is F4. I dont do F4, but yesterday, I was going to, but then wondered how I would own up to you all, so I passed.
