had a quick play with one light in my garage. I didnt like most of the shots I took couldnt get many good results with one light. Im in the process of converting the garage into a better space to use and im going to get some better lights.

dont be to harsh on my scruffy look, it was late at night and i was getting tired.

That would make for a nice business card. Try taking it into Photoshop and adding white type on the black background. It's set up perfectly for that. If you do ... post the results.

Next try, since you have one light, try adding a big piece of white cardboard, foamcore, or other material you can use to reflect light into the shadow side.

I think it works really well. Is your eye still brown or is that just me?

After suggesting that you make a business card out of it ... I did one to show you possiblities.

thanks for all the comments.

D. Craig Flory. thanks for the idea of the business card, but its gonna be a long time before I need one of those, still got a lot to learn.

Jim G. yeah I left some colour in the eyes, i was going to change that to but forgot.

I do have a reflector and will use them in some of my new attempts, I did want a strong contrast in this picture which is why i didnt use it here.

Thanks again for the comments

Carl
