Hi all,
Can someone tell me if one of these is a good buy ? Are they still serviceable by Canon ? I have read they are not as good optically as the MK 2.
Any thoughts appreciated as I have the oppertunity to lay my hands on one.
Cheers,
Marc

Any idea if Canon can still fix these if they should break down ? Cheers, It'd be hard to believe that Canon couldn't repair them .... it may come down to just having parts (or being able to get parts) for an older model lens that's not manufactured any longer ....
