Here is a second shot of Brotherswater taken just before the last one but further down the path. Again, it's a blend of two images

Yes, I have to agree my own preference falls for this one too

It's raining heavy here so I can't get out either - such a lovely sunrise first thing this morning too - thought it was going to be a good day...there's always tomorrow!

Hard to choose between the two. The foreground rocks in the other are a nice lead in, while the frosted grasses and trees in this one provide an eery feeling to a frigid looking scene. Would be nice to see a little more sky to offset the central horizon line.

Typically on the way to work this morning there was a glorious red sunrise and great clouds, did I have my camera? Did I b******s!

Welcome to mine also - I was out with the dogs and didn't bother taking the camera with as rain was forecast last night

I, too, prefer this one, David. It has an ethereal quality, great image(s).

You lot don't know the meaning of rain. We are an island within an island at the moment. No supplies getting through, so if any of you have a bottle of milk (or something stronger) you can spare, send it by pigeon post

The camera settings were 13th sec, f11, 18mm I think that I also had a CP and a ND Grad on the lens. As I say the image was processed twice for highlights and shadows and then blended to give me the final image.

The Milk is on it's way - I was going to send something stronger but unfortunately I got a little thirsty whilst strapping the milk bottle to the pigeons legs! Hope it stops raining soon Thanks for the comment Trevor.

Stunning shot! I think it just needs to be framed and hung on the wall...

Excellent blend and nicely processed.
The trees and grasses have a delicate look.
Almost looks like they're ready to shatter at a single touch.
