I am going out with my camera and new wide angle lens tomorrow and...well... its gonna bucket down aint it, could anyone give me any tips what rain could enhance in a picture.

I live on the north east coast of england which includes such places as bamburgh and many other castles, also holy island and coastal spots.

Cheers for any advice it will be muchly appreciated.

Well if you can catch a storm coming in you'll get a real moody atmosphere with your shots, providing you don't blow out the skies highlights that is.

Cloudy skies are what us brits are used to.

No point in sitting around waiting for the right weather, just don't soak your gear :)

Greens of leaves and plants pop in the rain.

Ooooo, I love damp moss covered rocks by rivers swollen with rain, ferns, grasses anything green sparkles and glows in the wet weather. Take your poloriser though ;)
