I wish there was enough viewing room to display this in a higher resolution.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

It does look very nice, and it is a shame that there is not a bigger on we could see (I checked your flickr site and it was the same size). The edges of the building to the far right don't look quite right (oversharpened?) but I presume that this is just a consequence of compression for the web.

Wonderful panorama. Good job! I like the bottom border effect as well.

Agree with rudgej. I've had that effect before on my panoramas. Mine happended when I didn't seperate the sky to apply some levels. Easy way round this, I put the sky on a layer below the foreground and applied levels and curves. Using a small feather radius to extract the sky helped as well. Quick mask also helps make the job easier.

Not sure if this is why the buildings edges seem seperated from the sky though.

Any clues on what you did warmpepsi, if anything?

It's not oversharpened, I had two layers and the top layer I darkened a lot to bring out the sky and then I applied a gradient to it. Then I cut out the buildings on the top layer to bring out the building from the bottom layer.

The computer I'm on is really slow so I got frustrated and didn't go into a lot of detail with that building on the right so that's why some edges seems a darker than others. I plan on tweaking it a little more when I get it on my computer. Other than that, I just played around with hue/saturation, curves, shadow/highlight, and a little sharpening.

Oh, and the pano is a composite of 7 raw images. The original pixel count is 19,386 x 2,704.

Very nice work!

Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Thank you for looking,

I just replaced the image with a slightly bigger version. It's just that it's not the same when you have to scroll to view part of the image rather than seeing the whole thing all at once.

The big flickr one certainly makes it easier to appreciate, and it has an HDR look to it. Did you notice the horizontal band running horizontally across the middle of the photo? You've also got some very nice photos on your gallery, and I think that the Subaru one is superb.

Yep, it's my watermark. If you look closely, you can see that it says basiic.com which is my site. Also, thanks for the comment about photos on my flickr.

:)
