See the trick is to figure out how much you spent, and then how many much worse places it could have gone. If I stayed in audio gear, I'de have $4k worth of stuff now, and still be trying to hear the difference between different eelctronics and cables.

I keep a spreadsheet of all my gear with serial numbers and purchase price. Right now it is showing just over 85K and that doesn't include computers or software which is pretty siginificant right now.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

About $22K.

You and Petkal could be the nuttiest guys on here with all those L's. Must be a Canadian thing I guess :). (I'm Canadian too, and with my age and many years to come, who knows whats in store for me.)

What'd you buy, Sheldon? Last time around we figured out it was around $50-60k. Spill the beans! What'd you get?!

Well Ron I can't remember when we last spoke about this. In the past few months I've added some more studio lights, a 1DsMKII, 14mm lens, some more backdrops, another tripod and a wimberly VII head.

Some of this is for my commericial shooting and others, such as the wimberly head, is for my personal use.

I don't make any apologies for having the gear list that I do. I try not to flaunt it but sometimes when one answers threads such as these it make appear so. It is certainly not my intent.

Photography has been a god send for me due to the loss of a family member a few years ago. Without it, life would have been a bigger struggle than it was.

I think I am done buying for awhile. I can't see much in the Canon lenses that I need, want sure, need no.

Just camera gear or everything. The $16k in gear is just the tip of the iceberg. There's framing, galleries, trip costs, etc..etc...etc..
