im in a similar boat. I can't remember last time i used my kit lens. I can't stand my sigma 24-135 that much anymore. and i bought a sigma 70-300 non apo version last summer but once i got the sigma 7-200 f/2.8 i've used it twice.

B&h quoted me $150 for the kit lens and the sigma 70-300 and $100 for the sigma 24-135. It just sucks as the last sigma i mentioned is less then a year old and in very good conditon and i paid $400 new.

But if i did get rid of all 3 i'de have a wide angle,70-200, and nifty fifty. Do I go non L prime? Do i save up for the 24-105 F/4L? Dont know what to do.

man I hear you.. even if I did manage to sell my least used pieces I'm not sure what I would replace them with.. hmmm.. on the other hand, switching the 28-105 for a shorter prime sounds dang appealing and getting some more memory out of the kit sounds lovely too... hmm... another few days and i'll more than likely start a thread...

We all loose a bit when we sell, but its the use you have had. It takes a while to know what you use the most. I used a program that reads all the exif info and exports out to excel. So I did that to all my photos and It showed me what focal lenght I used the most, as well as what lens.

Hmmm, This is something I was trying to avoid all along. My least used lens now is my 70-200 f/4 L and it is also the sharpest, so I'd hate to sell it, but but but I use the 100-400 iS L most of the time outdoors and use my Nifty and Sigma for everything else, including portraits, close ups, indoor, low light, product, landscapes, etc.
I might sell this the 70-200 f/4 soon. :-(

i recently had to deal with the same problem, eventualy i sold my EF28-135IS because it was just collecting dust for over a year. it did hurt a little but seeing someone else happy with it made me feel much better.
