Probably doesnt look like morning... but theres a story :)

Woke up this morning and noticed my blinds looked just a tad funny... red so I looked out the window, the clouds made all these weird shapes and the sky was red  !

So I grabbed my camera... and ran outside... in my pyjamas hoping to get a nice shot. Unfortunatly by the time I got to an open area (a field) the skies were more pinkish :( ! So I shot anyways just to see what would happen! The pics didnt exactly turn out nicely, very dull... just a normal dull sky so I threw it into photoshop and did a bit of curves, levels, saturation and all the goods and this is what came out of it.

Now heres a few questions, does it look too un natural? Too bold colors? How bout the shot in general? I never tried shooting skies or landscape for that matter so this is a first for me!

Thanks for reading and I look forward to any comments :) !

I know what its like to wake up to your room a different color. Yesterday morning, when I woke up, my room was orange, I looked out the window and saw it was the sun shining through the smoke in a nearby wildfire. Fortunately, we're safe from it, but have to deal with the smoke as the wind blows it to us. [Sorry if I'm rambling, I try to avoid it :)]. Great shot, BTW!

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

I saw a similar effect on Friday morning too, and while the sky looked fantastic, I was driving to work and didn't pass any nice foreground that would have made it a killer shot. Of course this was academic anyway as I also didn't have my camera. ;)
