Yeah it is. On the pink Background my lights were both at 1/4 power:( If I had checked they would have been good. I am so bummed.

Hello Ashley, regarding the lighting set up, it's always a good idea when photographing children to have even lighting (either side) and to have the lights just above head height. Nice capture.

I just don't see any of these shots as frameable or worthy of framing. The angles, expressions and compositions could be better. She is not looking at the camera in any of these shots.

I wasn't really looking for that "say cheese" moment. I agree they aren't very good pictures.

Hellashot, you don't think any of these are worthy of framing because she's not looking at the camera? I couldn't disagree more. Some of the are warm and could use a little adjustment, but they are precious shots. Sure some with the gal looking at the camera would be fine, but that doesn't preclude these from being frame worthy... I don't get it.

Yeah hellashot..i disagree...I think the pics are cute as heck. Not every shot has to be "posed" and fake! With children..you have to catch them in the moment!

Very cute.

The one thing that really stood out for me was that her eyes were not sharp. I'd do some locallized sharpening on the eyes and maybe a slight touch all over with a HPF sharpen or sharpen the eyes and soften the pics.

Not bad! i agree with SONG4 about the skin tone.... but other than that i like them!

on #4, i think her skin tone is a little too bright.
