Nice series Becca. Number one is my favorite. Is that building a hotel aor someone's home?

Great pics. Totally agree on the first photo with the other ones.

I actually watched Shawshank Redemption last night so that last photo was an added bonus. :)

Thx, Tobbi

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! I appreciate the feedback!

John and Dimitri, it was VERY early morning. I got up at 5 to get to the coast for sunrise in Maine (about 6:30am)

Julio, the large building on the left is a condominium complex but the buildings to the right are private homes.

Tobbi, that is one of my favorite movies! When I saw the car, I pulled a U-turn at about 35 mph to go back and get a shot of it! :)

Straighten the horizon in the first and that's definitely a great shot. Very good series Becca and thank you for sharing.

The park bench shot seems the most spiritual of the bunch. I really like that one!

There seems to be a trend of shooting a fair amount of less detailed foreground in your shots.

Is there a right way or a wrong way to approach this practice? I'm pretty new to all of this and could use some advice.

Cheers! :)

Some interesting subjects Becca, good lighting. When I saw the first one I was instantly reminded of Angela Lansbury in Murder She Wrote - those buildings could be straight out of "Cabot Cove".
