few shots i'm considering competing with, and i don't know if they're just favorites of mine, or if they could actually go somewhere.

tear them apart if you like, or just tell me what you think of them. be completely honest.

i've done two versions of each shot, one regular, and the other with a slight vignette to bring the viewer's eye in a little. let me know what ya think.

thanks so much.

I like the second one. Although I'm colorblind, the colors look a little off..the skintones. Am I wrong?

Yes the WB is off - too warm. The shots seems a little underexposed - especially #1.

The second one feels a bit more "balanced" to me, if that makes any sense, probably just the composition. though maybe a bit too angled (but that's just for my taste at this moment). I might almost prefer the non-vignetted version of the first one, and the vignetted version of the second one. I think that the skin tones are pretty nice actually, not blown out anywhere. Nice shots, pretty woman!

Quite new to all this.

Several folks have suggested white balance adjustments. It doesn't appear you've been able to do that. Do you need some help or do you just disagree? I don't like the way my question was phrased... don't mean to be confrontational. If you'd like some help, let us know and we'll help you figure out how to get the white balance adjusted.

I too agree that they are a little to warm, the old 81b filter in this case is still too strong. Try to raise the color temp on your raw to around 4800 or 4900 still warm, but not as much as you have here.

I love the model and pose, expression and framing on #1. Although It may be too tight for those not familier with fashion (that's where this look comes from) If you can try not to work the face so much in PP. If you need to, us gaussian blur instead of the heal brush or clone tool. The image, pose and cloths suggest the 70's somewhat so go with that.

The second image does nothing for me.

Like the others have said there essentially great images. Good poses and a beautiful model. The colour is however, very yellow. I did a quick clean up on one and although its not by any means perfect I can post it and the prosess I used if you'd like.

How about allowing editing?

I think these shots are great with the exception of some minor PPing. I agree with Song4theMoon. In addition, I would do some locallized sharpening of the eyes and maybe hair. I'd show you if you allowed. They could also go in the glamour section for the type of shots they are. I would have different comments there then I would here.

Great model and great shots! Congrats!
