What made you start a thread like this? And you need another choice.. 6) Whatever!

It was either do something fun or write a long and boring Sig :p

Can I add: 5: Scared - going to be part of a bad curry. (I've been to Birmingham too many times.)

The original Poll was rather longer and more stimulating but you only get 5 minutes to finish the bl**dy thing and so I lost it all :-( Scared would have been a good one tho'!

This bird is clearly unhappy. all fluffed up like that, it suggests he feels a bit grotty.

On the other hand - they also fluff up like this when they are pissed or horny....so depending on circumstances, he might be extremely unhappy....

Or, as I said, tired. I've had all types of birds all my life. When they want to mate, their tail will spread a bit, they'll bob their head, yes the feathers will be fluffed a bit, and the eyes pin. This is one of the most obvious of moods in birds.

I'd say depressed ... and it's thinking "if that bozo with the camera doesn't stop bothering me I'm gonna fly over and peck his eyes out!. Hasn't he seen The Birds ? ? ? Now shoo ... go away ... don't make me come over there!!!"

When they want to mate...

If Ronald's right, maybe the 400 would be a better choice than the shorter lenses in your arsenal. ;)

there's nothing wrong with the bird.. birds always look like that.. maybe he's slightly annoyed that he's a bird.. there is the potential curry situation weighing on his mind.. but, for now he's thrilled with getting his face immortalized on POTN..

That pigeon is just plain cold. Either that or he just landed the job of warming up a half-frozen ostrich egg.

You may need to consider that all the time you thought that your birds seemed randy they may been depressed. But then again you may have been right and they did want you   I dunno!

Amateurs!
That's a chick-pic conundrum. How do you expect me to vote on those "Oh-I-am-so-bored-and-lonely" options.

It is patently obvious that the bird is looking at you with a binary expectation gleam in her eye:
<Mister, either feed me or procreate with me, for I am just a simple old bird who lives by the credo "tertium non datur".>
