Thought I'd share a few of my shots from the fifth Great Kiwi POTN Expedition yesterday. There were 10 of us from Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga. We met up in the Karangahake gorge, just out of Waihi, which has some stunning scenery, and a rich gold mining history. A very interesting and rewarding day!

Scott you were on the money that day. Some of your best work.
The last 2 I would look at masks and layers with RAW

Thanks Tony. I have already used 2 layers on the 3rd one, but I have much to learn about that! The dynamic range was.......challanging!

I am going to print and frame the waterfall.

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Another vote for #1 for me, although I do like the industrial shots too. So who was the photographer in the last one?

O love Scott's shot of Owharoa Falls. Sell it to the Waihi Info Centre for their brochures.
