These are part of a series of shots I recently did for a Halloween shoot. It was an amazing night building this incredible set. We had two 1 tonne crane bags, one filled with logs the other with leaves which was emptied onto the Dungeon set along with a Coffin and Gravestone that were fabricated. Well done to the guys at Studio 3.

The rest of the series is on my website in the 'Featured models / Halloween Special'.

C&C very welcome.

Hi Jim,

Yeah I love the last one... it's my favourite one from the whole shoot. Titled 'The Kill'...

I originally shot it in colour and it looks good but as soon as I saw it I thought I bet it would look really dramatic in B&W... One I changed there was no going back. I added Sepia tone and that kind of finishes it off.

Thanks for the comments.

Thanks guys, there's more in the gallery on my website.

Had a lot of fun doing them. Funny thing is the first one was of a model I've previously photographed and she'd just popped in for a coffee, the other models were running a little late so we made good use of the time. She went home with a whole CD of photos to add to her collection.

Had no idea how this Halloween shoot was going to turn out but I'm well pleased with the results.

The last one, the vampire being slain is missing her fangs. Was she SURE she was a vampire?? If she wasn't..that amounts to murder, if I'm not mistaken. Possibly a 'goth' hate crime as well. ...just checking.

Really nice shots. It's just got to be cool to take shots on fancy sets like that. Very cool stuff!!

LOL Mikelangelo :)

Made me chuckle reading that. Well I think it's more of a goth hate thing in a halloween sort of way. Believe it or not those two live together and I gather they get to murder each other regularly !

Yeah it was a lot of fun shooting this series. Next month I'm doing 'Mother Christmas' which should be interesting.

Thanks for the comments.

Hi Pwen,

Thanks for the nice comments and glad you enjoyed the site. Yeah I think if I had to pick one from the series I'd chose the last one I posted up.

It's so dramatic and it really works in B&W.

Cheers
