Hi guys,

May of this year I took my first hit of 'L', every month that passed since then has been harder than the previous one, I've loved the 70-200 f4 'L' more and more and been less and less happy with the kit lens, so finally managed to get enough money together to feed the habit, I've just ordered a 17-40 f4 'L' and hoya filter :D now I've just gotta hang on till it's delivered !. Just can't wait !

Just hope I'm gonna be as impressed with it as I am the 70-200

Alan.

It seems to be one of Canon's best. Don't spoil it with a UV filter. Opps! Did I just open a can of worms?

I filter. It's a great lens, why risk messing up the front element?

I love mine too much to let it go naked in this cold harsh world.

A truly remarkable lens...excellent contrast and sharpness, especially on a cropped sensor body. I had this picture (external link) printed at 30x24... :D
